Purity vs Who Cares

One of my friends put on his facebook as his statues and i thought it was interesting "Many teens seem to guard their cellphones with more care and determination than they guard their virginity."
When I read that it made me think. That this statement is true. How many teens do you know that is a virgin. Now a days probably not very many. I think keeping yourself pure should be taught to every single teenager in the world. That you don't have to give yourself up for someone that you don't love just to fit in. And that you can wait till you get married to share that with your husband. To me that should be a high priority in a young persons life.
I am 19 years old and I am a virgin. I am not ashamed to saw that i haven't had sex. I wear a Purity ring every single day and i will until the day I get married. That is my commitment to God. That I would share that with my future husband. People may make fun of me but i don't care. I know how i would feel if i did have sex. Because in the bible it says that God created sex for husband and wife. And that it is mint for marriage. I am not trying to preach to u all . Who ever is reading this but you can make that promise to God right now you don't have to have a ring. You could already had sex that doesn't mean that you can't still make a promise that you will be pure until you get married.
SO THAT IS WHAT I THINK!!!

Books vs "The Book"

BECAUSE YOU CAN LEARN SO MUCH FROM THEM. I LOVE HOW YOU CAN READ A BOOK AND IT COMES ALIVE. lIKE YOU ARE APART OF THE STORY. ONE OF THE LATEST BOOKS I AM READING IS CALLED DAWN'S LIGHT BY TERRI BLACKSTOCK. IT IS A SERIES ABOUT A FAMILY THAT LEARN HOW TO WORK TOGETHER TO GET THROUGH LIFE AND I THINK IT IS ONE OF THE HARDEST THING TO EVER DO. THEY HAVE TO LEARN TO LIVE WITH OUT ALMOST EVERYTHING. TV, CELL PHONES AND EVEN RUNNING WATER. THAT TO ME WOULD BE HARD. BUT THEN I STARTED TO THINK. ALOTS OF PEOPLE READ BOOKS AND THEY READ THEM ALL THE TIME. SO WHY CAN'T THEY READ THE BIBLE IT IS A BOOK YOU CAN STILL PUT YOURSELF IN THE STORY JUST LIKE ANY OTHER BOOK. IT IS INTERESTING EVEN MORE INTERESTING THAN ANY OTHER BOOK IN THE WORLD. SO THAT I WHAT I THINK!
